Building Futures Mentoring Program 2026:
Mentee Application

This is a free in-person interdisciplinary mentoring program that connects built environment students with professionals across architecture, design, engineering, construction and development. 

As a mentee, you will take part in 4 in-person coffee catch-ups with industry mentors, where you will build meaningful industry connections, gain a clearer understanding of how different roles collaborate in practice, and develop confidence to navigate your future career. You will also benefit from personal and professional development through curated workshops and talks. 

 

Program Criteria 

  • Female student studying in built environment related degree (e.g. architecture, design, engineering, construction and development) 

  • Ability to commit to the full program duration (March 2026 – October 2026) 

  • All mentoring meet ups must be in-person 

  • Local and International students are welcome to join 

  • Please note this program is NOT designed to provide you with a job offer or employment. 

 

Key Dates  

  • 6th June 2026 - Application Close  

  • 20th July 2026 - Successful Applicants notified  

  • 6th August 2026 - Kick- Off Event: launch of program where you get the opportunity to meet all participants in the program. (in person evening event)  

  • 10th September 2026 - Check-In Event: personal and professional development workshop for both mentee and mentor (in person evening event)  

  • 15th October 2026 - Close-Out Event: celebrator conclusion to the end of the program (in person evening event)
